Our Story
History
American MTS was founded in 1972 as American Rewinding in Monroe, NC. During that time the textile industry was flourishing in the Carolina's and became the primary industry served. Over the years, market conditions have changed requiring the company to expand and diversify.
American Rewinding was purchased by Michael and Richard Huber.

Through equipment investments, staff training, and facilities upgrades, American MTS continues to lead the way in providing the most diverse electro-mechanical apparatus repair services in the Carolina's. ​ ​
