CENTRAL ELECTRIC MERGES WITH AMERICAN MTS

In August of 2011, American MTS merged operations with Central Electric and Rewinding of Florence SC. This merger has expanded our service area to include Eastern South Carolina and Southeastern North Carolina. but more importantly it has added the experience and talents of Ryan Watford to our team. Ryan was involved in all aspects of Central Electric for nearly 40 years. He has extensive experience in solving customers problems.

American MTS began as American Rewinding in Monroe, NC in 1972 primarily servicing the textile industry. Over the years market conditions have changed requiring the company to change and diversify.
